Illustrations are drawn from open sources (Wikimedia Commons, public domain) or taken by the editor. Licensing details are noted in image captions. If you are a rights holder and believe an image is used incorrectly, please write — it will be replaced immediately.
Accuracy of information
Prices, schedules and opening hours of museums and lift systems are accurate at the time of verification, dated on each Field Note. However, Swiss tourism infrastructure changes regularly — always cross-check against the official sources before travelling: SBB.ch for transport, MySwitzerland.com for general orientation, and individual museum sites.
Limitation of liability
The editor accepts no liability for decisions made by readers based on published material. Independent mountain hikes, high-altitude excursions and visits to remote sites require reasonable preparation and honest assessment of weather conditions and personal fitness.
Changes to terms
The editor reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice. The current version is always available on this page.
